Baju Tunang

It will be another 1 more month to go for my Hari pertunangan :) Well lets get started.

It will be just a simple event.  No big hall, No grand events happening, No hantaran tunang, I repeat no hantaran tunang, It is just a simple hari tunang that I wished for. :) Simplicity always wins. I am not that into the heavy details that most people would prefer during their hari pertunangan, unless if it is my wedding day.

Light sea turqoise green would be the color during my engagement day. :) Was having the most hardest time choosing. But one thing that stuck on my mind was the simplicity that i want for my engagement day.  So i choose this!  *note that the picture is abit so so..

There were lots of picture Whatsapping my mom, asking her opinion on which baju to choose.  FINALLY, I bought this baju in one of the boutique in Kota Damansara.  Mom liked it, I liked it.

They have lots of Baju pengantin, Nikah, Tunang that is ready made for you.  Told the shop that I wanted something simple for my engagement day, so she gave me lots of choices, but finally I choose this one. Its actually Chiffon but you can't tell it because of the lighting.  Also the lining was a bit thick.

I just LOVE how they made the sleeves like this!

And so I tried it on, and yes!! Just found the winner!  The price range for Baju tunang like this is not that expensive.  As the price range is from RM200-RM300.  Very reasonable.  The other baju nikah, sanding and all are also very affordable.  But kena pandai pilih la.. @_@

Guilty!  I just LOVE the way the beads are! It is actually hand made.  Very pretty!! I just got to try it on another go when I reached home.  And so I did.

Aaannnnnnddd after testing it on and a bit of lakonan *ehem-ehem* siok sendiri baaaa.. Suddenly I felt excited BUT Nervous.  @_@

Showed it to Jai, and he LOVED it! :) And then after a few message and pictures with that Baju on, he felt nervous and excited.  Soooo okay, time to hang the baju back. :)

7 December 2013 is my merisik and engagement day. :)

Till then,
Stay tune!

Back in the days

Back in the days I was pretty wild.  I got drunk, I got high on weeds, I go clubbing, I go freedom parties (I wonder why do they stop having freedom parties) which can lead to the extreme.  You are in your teens and early 20's, so why not go for it?

But then, I've been having this thoughts and I started thinking.  When will all these stop?  if it stops what will happen? partying is seriously taking its toll on me.  In terms of health, money, career but not my studies.  Am I still going to spend money on parties when i am working?  Am i still going to clubs even when I am married?  What does this do good on me?  And that is where I realize that I need a break from everything.  That is where I took a break from those distractions and those that would distract me in to all those things.  I was not strong.  Not strong to hinder all the temptations.  Because I grew up with those type of influences, and I need a way to combat those things.

Eventually I did nasty things.  Which I do apologize to those that I hurt.  But I did not regret one single thing.  Because the path that I am in now, is what I want for my future.

Back in the days, I was very rebellious.  I hated going to class, I hated studying, I hated the lecturers but I still continued doing it.  Why?  Even-though I am rebellious the thought of my future is still intact with my mind.  Another reason why I hated my campus life is because I hated UiTM.  But nevertheless, that is where I met all my friends, and that is where i experienced everything.  There is always a reason why things happened.  Even if we don't want it to happen.  Look at me.  I'm getting married, had a blast-ful career, friends are everywhere.  One thing that I have learnt is that you gots to be patient.

Patient people will tend to receive more opportunities.  :D

The only thing that I could not eliminate from my old habits is Smoking.  Although I've changed to vapour,  there are some times where you feel you need a ciggy.  Kinda bad, but yea, that is how it is.

Back in the days all I can think of was my social life.  Which pretty much sums up that I am quite social.  Probably that is why sometimes people feel intimidated by me.  Well, it is not my fault for being outgoing.  I love being outgoing.  But sometimes there are times where you feel that you want to stay at home and do nothing.

Can any of you please tell me how can I lose weight? haih.. diet? exercise?  lagi lain apa?

Friends, raya, wedding :)

Hello people!

I know I know,  I've been inactive this past few month.

I've recently gotten back with a few past people whom I have lost contact with.  Facebook!  I love you.  You are the ones that link me to these people. :) Good friends are everywhere.  They are the ones that is always there for you.

Its fun when you get to to Karaoke-ing with them.  And knowing that they never did change their attitude! They are still being hilarious!

From left: Me, Naha, naha's Beau Reza, Syahmi, Fahmi, Awang and kodenk

 Tengok ni dua manusia ni..
Me and Naha :)

Great times when I went back to KK for the Raya year :)  Had fun!

In papar first day of Raya :)
My colleague in RSPO :) mimi, me and mel during Anne's farewell

My mind is full of things that needs to be done a.s.a.p.. Work, Wedding cards, Doorgift, Baju tunang, Baju nikah, Pelamin, wedding organizer, food, Dewan, lose weight!  and etc.. etc.. etc..  How time flies really fast.  I have been to countless of weddings.  I was the guest.  And now, I am the bride inviting guest to my wedding!!

I want it simple, contemporary and elegant FULLSTOP! I've been surveying all those wedding cards and saw all those oh over the top wedding cards.  It looks really nice.  But common, Its not like I am marrying a Tan Sri's Son. :P

I am keeping an eye on this card

Glamorous Rose!  I have been in contact through email with the shop.  And eventually they are giving me a pretty reasonable price :)

Please not to mention door gift.  Been discussing it with my mom.  And I told her for door gifts I would like to give a simple but decorative hand fan. :) You know those fans?

So this is the current "IT" trend of the wedding fan.  Very creative
 Bertimbun and Bertimbun of Kipas
Was actually eyeing on this type of kipas :P

So now, I am still discussing this with my mom, either to give the door gift  in both Days of Nikah and Sanding, or just during Nikah. I could eventually just give like a bunga telur during sanding? I think its better that way as Nikah would be held at my house, so giving people a fan would be better.  Panas, so ada kipas :)  Bunga Telur would be during the sanding in the dewan.  My stress would pretty much be organizing the wedding in KK.  As for in JB,  I can just relax and angkat tangan :P

The sanding in JB will be held in Dewan Jubli Intan.  JB confirm date for sanding would be on the 7th June 2014.  Told my mom that the nikah date would be on the 24th, and sanding could do it at night.  My mom said it is too tiring.  Better do the nikah on the 23rd May (Friday) Sanding on the 24th May (Saturday) .  So eventually it would be a two days event.  Then that means that it would be an increase in Wedding cards la ni.  @_@  Basically we took the school hols.  I took the start of the school holidays, and he took the ending of the school holidays.

My mom told be to buy the baju nikah in medan during my Meeting trip there.  She said banyak baju and kain cantik di sn.  Why not Jakarta?  pain in the ass if i were to go there. @_@

My theme color would be Grey :)  I have no idea why it is the trending wedding color right now :P  Than the sanding in JB would be Cream.  The colors are so vogue la.  usually people would take pastel colors for their wedding.  Which i find it notoriously sakit kepala. haha

Anyway, i really need to sit down an rethink the whole items for the wedding.

This is the day where I dream of happening one day :) My wedding :)

love you Jai!

Curi Tulang ber-blog

Today is the 21st day of Ramadhan.  8 more days to go!!!

Alhamdullillah Puasa this year has been a blessing :)

Will be going back to KK on the 2nd of Aug.  Coming back to KL on the 13th of Aug.  Not quite the long holiday I was hoping for.  So sad.

Luckily working in a closed aircond ofice.  So you don't really feel the hungry.  yes at times you feel like drinking some extra cold water, Ujian Tetap ujian, so bear with it.  Pahala kita berlipat kali ganda. :)

The issue that has been going around for quite some time now is about the diesel oil in Sabah that has gone "Kaput!'.

Easy say, we should have never at the first place join Malaysia.  look on what they have done to us!  It was smart of Brunei to not join Malaysia.  Otherwise their Oil too would be sucked dry by our greedy, selfish bastard UMNO of a government.  GOD I HATE THEM!!  They are full of lies, manipulation, discrimination and lies!  It is because of them Sabah is called a never ending poverty.

Even though my family is one of them.  Please... DON'T MIX POLITIC WITH FAMILY.  I view them as my family, but if they act and talk politic, I will hate you.  Family is Family and please don't include politic in a family.

Samsung Note 2 is under my vision and glare of "WANTS".  I need a super handphone without any lag, stuck, slow, or etc etc... because I am a heavy apps handphone user.  And I will use that handphone to the max.

Why?  They say internet 4GB internet package is alot for a single handphone.  Sorry, but not for me.  Its only been 1 week and I can use it till 3 GB.  Internet freak? @_@.. no la.  its just that, I use alot of internet.  its easy, reliable and free.

What I like most when it is the fasting moth, you get to go back at 4.30PM from the office instead of your usual daily routine of 5.30PM.  LOVE IT!!

What to eat for iftar today??  Bazaar?? I can be bored of it.  Well I am bored of it already.  probably some home cook meal?  Yes that would be nice.  It would also be nice if there some kuih muih from the bazaar as well. :)

Okay gots to go.  Need to work.  Sempat lagi curi tulang and to blog.  naaah.. just took 10 minutes of my time to do this.  Fast typing hands.  I type what I think.  Gotta get used to it.

Till then,
Stay tune,

A little something something

Everywhere you see people vape.  Also there are still smokers.  And being a vaper myself since I've started vaping when these vape was introduced in the Philippines,  (Malaysia a bit slow la), you tend to know which is fake, copy and not the original vape mode.

Limited edition Hell fire mode, If you are a vape monster you would want this.  My darling is using this and this is totally not my type of mode.  I am using silver dog, and will be my preferred vape mode.  However, I did had the intention to have Caravela vape mode.  But naaaa, I'll hold on to Silver dog for now.  Orion?? Boleh la, but alot of copies has been made from Orion, so I feel that it is not legit anymore.

Anyway, Ramadhan is TOMORROW!!! aiming for full puasa :D  Going back to kk for Raya on the 2nd of August.  This is the first time I'm using Malindo air.  According to my sister, she said it was scary, the planes are all in top notch, new, got screen and all.  We'll see hot it goes.

AIR ASIA has become my least favorite flight.  It is no longer the cheapest, It has become expensive.  And so, My traveling became either Malindo, or MAS.  It is easy, because I could just take the ERL to the airport.  Park my car here in the office in Bangsar, because it is a direct link to the Bangsar LRT.  Talk about convenient!!

Time goes on really fast.  I do still remember my wee time when I was still in primary and secondary school.  How I imagined this day would come.  And it actually did.  I am taking time off from studying.  Will continue later doing my masters.  Even my professors told me that it is better to have experiencing working before you take your masters.  Because half the time when you are in a masters class, you don't understand a thing of what the professors are explaining.  It is no longer based on books, like Degree, it is a whole new different level.

There is a high probability that I would continue my masters in Environmental science (Research that is.)  As I am working in the Palm Oil industry, I think it would suit best If I were to study that.

Okay back to work.

Stay tuned!

An optimist

Sometimes I wonder, Why did I did that?  Am i that stupid?  Am I that desperate?  Am that lonely?  Why did I do that?

I wish that i could turn back time and fix everything.  Fix who were my friends back then, Fix to not give up, Fix to think twice, Fix everything.  But sadly I can't. If there were ways for me to go back to the past, and live and breath in the past with my mental and memory of the past, I....will.....fix ................everything.

If I were back in the past, I will not quit Rhythmic gymnastics, I will work harder and achieve more in that favorite sport of mine.  If I were back in the past I will not only take up Piano lessons, I will take violin as well, knowing that I have the passion to play the violin.  If I were back in the past, I will work hard to achieve what I want more.  If I were back in the past, I will change my friends, and have better childhood friends.  If I were back in the past, I will do anything to achieve what I want.  If I were back in the past, I will not have boyfriends who are assholes, temperate bastards, fucking idiots and a whole bunch of motherfuckers who take advantage of me and who don't even know how to appreciate me.  If I were back in the past, I will not follow my friends applying for UiTM but to go overseas and pursue my studies there.  If I were back in the past, I will have good and better friends and If I were back in the past, I will not give up easily.

All those things that I've said, Is what I live in misery about.  The only thing that I do not want to change is how I met my soon to be husband, Muhammad Ruzaini Haron a.k.a Jai.  I do not want to change how we met.  I do not want to change the fact that we met 3 years and 6 month ago.  I do not want to change how I've fallen in love with you.  I do not want to change the fact that you and I are meant for each other.  I love you.  And that is all that matters to me.

Then again, everything happens for a reason.  And that made me realize how it shapes me up mentally and physically, and how it made me prepare for the journey that I have been in for such a long time.  I've gotten the experience enough to make my own decisions, and I have learnt many lessons that made me who I am today.

Yes some of you may say that I am harsh, sarcastic, quiet, loud, happy, friendly and distant.  Because that is what I endure 22 years ago.  And now at the age of 24, I am happily being who I am, an optimist.

Well said,

Till then,
Stay tune.

Palm Oil Industries

Working in a Palm Oil Industry is never easy, especially in sustainable Palm Oil. I know, because I am working in one of the big boys palm oil certification company.

Palm Oil and Oil & Gas are the same.  Both highly paid, but the work is extreme.

Palm Oil has received many criticism in regards of how they process palm oil.  This is because, in order for you to have a business in palm, you need one heck of a large land.  These land consists of full flora and fauna especially endangered species.  Not to mention the Local people that have stayed over a 100 years on that piece of land.  So how are you going to grow palm oil with such diverse biodiversity in that piece of land?  This is where the issue comes.  Open burning of forest, illegal logging that may kill thousands and millions of wild species of animals and plants.  Also causing problems for the Indigenous local people in that forest.  By these actions, this is where criticism of palm oil started.  And it is still in deep fire because of these issues.

Malaysia and Indonesia are the two largest country in the world that produces Palm Oil.  And yet we are under scrutiny by the Europeans because of our arrogant in producing Palm Oil.  Europe has made a regulation to not import and buy Palm Oil that is not sustainable.  Meaning, Palm Oil that were produce in harmful manner towards the people and planet.

So how do they differentiate Palm Oil that is sustainable and unsustainable?  Well, there goes RSPO, the company that I am working in.

RSPO is a certification company that gives out certificates to Palm Oil growers, retailers, manufacturers, industries and etc...  However, in order to get the certificates, you first need to be a member of RSPO and abide to all the principle and criteria set by RSPO.  Now these principles and criteria are made through consensus by RSPO's multi stakeholder from various places.  There are the ones that set the standards of how to produce sustainable Palm Oil at the same time thinking of maintaining the "green".  When members follow and abide to these principles and criteria, they will be granted the certificate and trademark of RSPO sustainable palm oil.  However, before getting that, they must first join RSPO as a member with fees from 2000EURO until 250 EURO.  After that would be the long and agonizing of auditing their processed palm oil.  You think it is that easy to earn the RSPO certified palm oil?

RSPO has members in all over the world.  And we are the most sought out certification in the world.  Easy say,  when you have experience working in RSPO in your resume, consider your resume strong.  You want to work in any big guns Palm Oil such as Sime Darby?  Easy.  You want to work in a certification body like ASI?  You are the most sought out people in the Palm oil industry.  Consider yourself to be paid in a high wage salary.

But sadly, Malaysia has the lowest knowledge in this, and thus Malaysia will continue on to be scrutinized in their palm oil industry by the Europeans and westerns.

Surviving JAKARTA!

Its been a few month now since I wrote anything in my blog.  Can't say that I am not that active any more.  But somehow I just can't seem to find the right time to do anything with my blog now that I've been working my ass off. :P

Anyway, good thing I took a retreat to Jakarta 4 days ago.  Feels like it is not a holiday but more or less like a survivor.  Because...

  • You must be mentally and physically fit to roam and shop in Tanah Abang, Mangga Dua and Thambrin City,
  • Calling for a Taxi is like being into war with others.
  • You have to be mentally prepared on how Indonesian drivers drive.
  • You want to walk to the nearest mall?
    • You must be prepared to cross the street.  Indonesian drivers will not slow down.  Your hand!!! Is your tool and weapon.
    • Be prepared to face tepi jalan hawkers food.  You must be mentally prepared to see how they prepare their food.
    • Even if it is a 200M walk from your hotel, clutching hard onto your handbag is like you are holding on to your life.
  • You must be smart when ordering food and drinks.  Take note that the waters in Indonesia are dirty, so order up only mineral water when you eat in restaurants.  Unless it is a hotel and some high quality food, you may trust this place.  Or not be prepared to face a very.... very upset stomach.
  • Coming back to the hotel from where you came is like a sense of relief.  It is like you have been given life back.
  • Be physically and mentally prepared for Indonesians who calls you and insist you to buy their stuff.
  • Be smart when bargaining.  Indonesians tends to double counter you back.  *They are smart, DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THEM!*
  • Recognize their money notes so that you don't look like a 100% foreigner.  They will take advantage of you once they see how much money you bring while you are busy searching and counting for the right notes to give.
  • You can be yourself, when you shop, but some of them tend to be bias towards Foreigners.  Be aware!!
  • Don't trust hawkers food (Tepi jalan)
  • Don't trust hawkers food (Tepi jalan)
  • Don't trust hawkers food (Tepi jalan)
  • Don't trust hawkers food (Tepi jalan)
  • Don't trust hawkers food (Tepi jalan)... No matter how yummy the food smell, Do not trust them!!! You have been warned!  Why?  Hygiene matter... They are the lowest of the lowest!
I think that seems it.  Survivor of the fittest.  That is what I feel like when I am in Jakarta.  :P

Pictures below!!!

Focusing on what Baju Kebaya to choose from.  One of the Stall in Tanah Abang

 Kain-Kain.. Banyak Kain

Mesti bingung kan tengok kedai macam ni.  Baru kena Customer Tsunami

 Kuih Muih in Mangga Dua.

 Bakso Bakso!!!

I was quite humoured by this pig bathing in either chocolate/mud.  This was taken in a shop called coco island in Grand Indonesia Mall

Malaysia does not have these.  JD mix with Coke and Vodka Smirnoff in little bottles?! Cheap too!! RM6.90 is freakin' Cheap!

 Soto Daging Yuk!

Jakarta at night :D Taken from my hotel window.

Yes, I am very vain. :)

So there you have it.   I can't seem to stop and take pictures of the situation in Tanah Abang, Mangga dua and etc.. HECTIC like shit okay.  Besides, there were too many people and too many stuff to look at.  No time, and I feel that my phone is best kept in my bag at all times.  Why?  Indonesians there uses handphone nokia dulu dulu, so they would be sakai sikit bila nmpk touch screen handphone with large screen.  Don't you think so?  Also, pick pockets are very popular there.  So be extra careful!!!

I think I will stop it here. :)  I Gots Work tomorrow. :D

Till then,
Stay tune!

Vape

Left vapor, Gold chrome with silver and cherry black and white drip tip is Jai's Pinoy pipe bomb vape mode.  The right, colourful body with green tank and white and green cherry drip tip, Ce4 vivi nova mode is mine. :)

I am quitting smoking.  Bought this thing not too long ago.  Eventually, I did not have a single cigarette in 4 month.  Amazing!!!

Not bad la, i chose vivi nova because it produces alot of smoke.  Jai, eventually bought Pinoy mode.  No comment on the quantity of smoke, But I know it creates a hell lot of smoke.  like shisha.  :P

Anyway, it is better to vape then smoke.  Government sibuk mau masuk campur bagi tax.  Bought this thing way early so therefore no tax. :)

Ok la not bad.

:)

It's 2025! My last and final blog

Hey yall! It is 2025! Happy New year! A lot has happened back in 2024. 2024 just flew by so quick! Looking back at all my previous post, I o...
